Learning the industry from the ground up
Working in furniture hire provided firsthand experience of customers, stock, deliveries, venue pressures and the physical work behind successful events.
Kylah Group is a family-built London event furniture hire company founded with a simple purpose: to create an honest, lasting business that delivers personal service, fair pricing and standards our children can be proud of.
Kylah Group was founded by Earll Williams after working within the furniture hire industry and seeing the business from the ground up. He learned that successful events are not created by products alone. They depend on the people answering the phone, preparing the furniture, loading the vans, navigating London, setting up venues and returning after the celebration has ended.
That experience shaped a belief that still guides the company today: a strong business is built from the ground up by the people who do the work. Customers deserve to be treated with care, and the people carrying out the physical work deserve respect for the standards they uphold.
The deeper reason for starting Kylah Group was personal. Earlier in life, Earll tried to create financial security through the wrong avenues. Those choices led to periods of imprisonment and consequences that could not be ignored. His past is not hidden or romanticised. It is part of why this business exists.
When the opportunity came to start again, Earll made a clear decision: redirect the same drive, resilience, resourcefulness and instinct for opportunity into something legitimate, useful and lasting. Kylah Group became a way to refuse the statistic, make his family proud and prove that a difficult past does not have to control the future.
Founder & Managing Director
Kylah Group did not begin with investors, a warehouse full of stock or a polished business plan. It began with 100 folding chairs, no dedicated storage unit, no company van and a basic website created without any real understanding of search engine optimisation.
There were expensive lessons. Earll trusted SEO agencies that promised visibility and results but delivered very little. Rather than surrender control of the business's future, he began learning the digital side himself—building pages, understanding search behaviour, improving the customer journey and finding ways for a small independent company to compete with established names.
The moment Kylah Group truly felt real was not a large contract or a flashy milestone. It was when the first customer returned and booked again. That repeat booking proved that the service had created trust. Since then, every returning customer, recommendation and successful delivery has added another layer to the foundation.
There was no overnight success. Kylah Group has been built through practical steps, hard lessons and consistent work.

The first stock was modest, but it was enough to start serving real customers and proving that the idea could work.
Early limitations forced the company to become resourceful, careful with money and focused on solving problems rather than waiting for ideal conditions.
A customer choosing Kylah Group for a second time became the clearest early proof that reliability and personal service could build genuine loyalty.
Today, Kylah Group supplies chairs, tables, linen, gazebos and event accessories for weddings, businesses, venues, celebrations and community events across London.
The name Kylah was created by combining the names of Earll's two children, Kyah and Shylah. That decision made the purpose of the business impossible to forget. Every booking, investment and difficult day is connected to something bigger than turnover: creating a legitimate family legacy and showing the children what can be built through discipline, patience and honest work.
Earll's wife has been instrumental throughout the journey. Her support has extended far beyond encouragement—helping with customers, deliveries, setups, dismantles, collections and the financial discipline needed to keep a growing company steady.
Kylah Group is family-built in the truest sense. It carries the children's names, reflects the work of both partners and is being shaped into something the next generation can be proud to inherit, join or learn from.
These are not slogans added after the business was built. They come directly from how and why Kylah Group began.
Customers should feel heard, not processed. We aim to understand the event, explain the options clearly and remain available from enquiry to collection.
Smaller events deserve the same care as larger ones. Customers can hire what they genuinely need without being forced into an unnecessary minimum quantity.
Good presentation and dependable service should remain accessible. We work to keep pricing sensible without lowering the standard of care.
Loading, driving, setting up and collecting are not background tasks. They are the foundation of the customer experience and should be completed properly.
We would rather build steadily and keep our word than chase appearances. Progress is measured in trust, repeat customers and work completed well.
Past mistakes taught the value of ownership. When something needs attention, we face it, communicate clearly and work towards the right outcome.
